***Possible Spoilers if you haven't seen this movie***
What did you think of the acting? I loved the acting, personally. I thought Kristen Stewart did really well, as usual. I loved the way she used a monotone the whole time in her head, but yet at the same time it was so emotional. Really showed the pain she was going through, you know?
If you have read the book, how do you think it compares to the book? I was actually surprised to find that almost everything aligned with the book. I really loved how the movie used a lot of the book quotes. It did it justice, to be sure!
Do you think it showed an accurate portrayal of someone in this situation? I think it did. Especially if she was just starting high school and all of her friends had suddenly deserted her. People deal with things in different ways, and I think it gives a good image for young women to relate to. If you were in her situation, wouldn't you want to keep quiet about it as well? It's embarrassing!
What part of this movie stood out most to you? Definitely the ending when she showed her art teacher her special spot. I always tear up when that comes around.
Who were your favorite supporting characters? Most certainly her art teacher. I have so much love for him that I can't express it enough. I just adore his character!

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**
What did you think of the acting? Absolutely amazing. Kristen Stewart did an amazing job, and I have to agree with you pansy about the whole monotone part. It was monotone, yet emotional. And she was able to act without depending on the script. The supporting actors also did a good job, well, supporting.
If you have read the book, how do you think it compares to the book? I might actually like the movie better than the book. The ending was a HELL of a lot more satisfying, and I dunno, it let me sympathize with her more. The movie did leave out a lot of the wittiness/humor, though. But yeah, it was a good book to movie adaption for sure, and we all know that that is a very rare thing.
Do you think it showed an accurate portrayal of someone in this situation? Yeah, definitely.
What part of this movie stood out most to you? I thought the flashback scenes were done very well, they troubled me greatly. I also liked the end when Melinda was walking away from her "secret room" after the last confrontation and the principal asked "Melinda, what happened?" And basically that whole end sequence with the drive home and her finally speaking.
Who were your favorite supporting characters? Yup, definitely the art teacher. I also liked that kid whose name I forgot. xD He was the guy who walked out of the classroom when the teacher was lecturing about immigrants.

What did you think of the acting? I thought it was pretty good. Kristens best movie that I've seen. And whoever played the art teacher made me smile =]
If you have read the book, how do you think it compares to the book? From a book to movie comparison I thought they got it pretty dead on. I imagined a different art teacher but if that's all they really changed then woooo. I wasn't disappointing with anyone, or any event that I remembered reading about and then seeing.
Do you think it showed an accurate portrayal of someone in this situation? I've never been in that situation, but from a statistic standpoint I believe most people don't tell anyone until it's too late. And most people find a reason to blame themselves. So yes, I thought it was fairly well portrayed.
What part of this movie stood out most to you? Honestly, just the movie as a whole. I only watched it because I read the book.
Who were your favorite supporting characters? The art teacher =]

Yeah, I also think this is the best of Kristen's movies. Did you know that there's going to be a movie called The Runaways, and she's going to play Joan Jett? I'm really excited to see her try the whole rocker thing.
