Genre: Drama, Action/Psychological Thriller, Dark Humor MPAA Rating: R (For disturbing and graphic depiction of violent anti-social behavior, sexuality and language) Summary: When corporate drone Edward Norton can't sleep, his insomnia leads him to take desperate measures and introduces him to roguish rebel Brad Pitt. But when other men join in the "fun," Pitt transforms the club from a group of men rebelling against conformity into a nihilistic cult of pranksters with greater malice in store. Do you think the actors did a good job, and who stood out? : I think the actors did a brilliant job, personally. I'm sure many people will agree with me. To me, Brad Pitt stood out the most, although they all stood out in their own unique way. I'm not much of a Pitt fan at all, but he was so good in this movie. I love the role he played, of course, and I don't think anyone could have possibly done it better.
What did this movie make you think about/question? Was it thought provoking? : This movie made me think about the overall stability of our economy, and just how fickle it really is. It's very thought-provoking, although if one continues to think on the subject matter for too long, one might be driven mad.
What was your favorite scene or quote? : My favorite scene? Probably.... Ugh that's really hard. Most likely the very first time that Brad and Edward 'fight' outside of the bar. X3
If you wish anything was changed about the movie, what would it be? : There was absolutely nothing about this that I would change. It was practically perfect, in my very unprofessional opinion.

Do you think the actors did a good job, and who stood out?:I find Brad Pitt abominably sexy, even covered in blood and sweat. Eye candy galore. That said, Edward Norton as Narrator is possibly my favorite character in any movie ever. He somehow managed to pull off average and psychotic at the same time, which I can't imagine is an easy thing to do. Every time he got the 'angry' look on his face the first time I watched it I got shivers up my spine. Next to Edward Norton, I love Helena Bonham Carter. Her character was definitely needed in the story as a sort-of catalyst for the Narrator and his downspiral into psychosis. She's mostly seen as an eccentric throughout the movie, but she's just another level of average that the Narrator has to come to terms with in his own mind. What did this movie make you think about/question? Was it thought provoking?:It was most definitely thought-provoking in that it made me think about where I might find a Fight Club. But really, I spent half an hour after I saw the movie for the first time grinding the gears in my head trying to pick up every single tiny detail I may have missed. I watch movies mostly for the entertaining qualities, so it's not very often one makes me want to watch it again five minutes after finishing it. What was your favorite scene or quote?:Gah, I have to choose? I think my favorite scenes are a tie between the 'near life experience' car wreck scene and the penguin/Marla scene. The composition in both were amazing. My all-time favorite line is "Ok. You are now firing a gun at your imaginary friend near 400 gallons of nitroglycerin!" It made me giggle. Though there are SO many great lines in the movie it's almost impossible to pick a top-ten. If you wish anything was changed about the movie, what would it be?I wouldn't change anything. I think if things were to be changed, it wouldn't have the same paranormal psychotic feel it has now, even in the details.

Do you think the actors did a good job, and who stood out? This movie was extremely well casted for sure. Bob, Marla, Narrator, Tyler, Angel Face, everybody really. They were all perfect for the role. I think Edward Norton stood out to me the most, but like I said, everyone was amazing. I don't know. He makes the whole schizophrenia thing very plausible. You can see him as Tyler (especially when he was at work), you can see him as the materialistic insecure whiny anal insomniac who's unhappy with his life, and you can see him as just a f'ing psycho. But Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter were very effective supporting actors.
What did this movie make you think about/question? Was it thought provoking? Yeah, I thought it was. It really made me think about humanity as a whole and its attachment to possessions and materialistic ideals.
What was your favorite scene or quote? Ohhh man too many to choose. I loved the scenes with Tyler/Narrator and Marla just because they're so weird. I also loved Tyler's line about oxygen masks on planes and Hindu cows... Oh and the car scene. That was intense.
The thing I love most about this movie though is that you can watch it over and over and never get tired of it. It's also a lot of fun to notice little things here and there that you would only notice if you knew what happened at the end. I absolutely loved it the first time, but the second time was even more enjoyable than the first because of that.
