This is to discuss different cultures or something different you notice about different places around the world. Just a general cultures/countries thread.
I can't believe that in Japan you can buy a SANDWICH at a freaking convenience store.

They don't in the USA? @_@ That's quite usual in Europe too. Most convenience stores, esp the once near railways and stuff, sell sandwiches and some fruits. In Austria they usually also sell 'mozard liquor' and in France French bread. Lol!

Noooo. x( They sell mostly unhealthy stuff. And there aren't that many around, not where I live anyway. In Japan there are like, 2 on every block... is it like that in Europe?

Yeah they sell sandwiches/fruits/salads/etc in Canadian convenience stores too (well the ones around here anyway)
