Oh okay. I thought it looked good from the trailers, so... I guess I'll watch it.
Was it Cloverfield/Blair Witch Project style filming?

We had a movie weekend.
Get Smart - pretty funny. Not bad for a tv show to film remake kind of deal.
Closer- I'll never get those two hours back, I guess it was good I found a new computer game to play so it wasn't a total waste of time. Ammy loved it. But I felt like it was pretty much a movie to show what jackasses people can be, how mean and cruel they can be, and that nothing much changes the fact that they are jackasses. It's supposed to be a chick flick, so maybe that's why I didn't like it. I've never been one for chick flicks, oddly enough.
Some Kung-fu comedy film about the Axe Gang and the Buddihst Palm. Aside from the fact it was all in a foreign language, which usually annoys me, it was pretty decent for the kind of film it was. I always find the oriental "super-hero" movies a bit hillarious anyway. This one was no exception. I think the fact it was in a foreign language didn't bug me as much as normal because there was so little actual dialog. Not bad if you like martial arts fantasy type movies.

Hahaha I loved Closer. And a movie weekend for me is at least 8 movies. xD
I watched A Tale of Two Sisters, a korean horror film. It was amazing. Very creepy and downright scary at some points, and beautifully shot. I also watched an independent film adaption of Alice In Wonderland called "Alice", and I liked it for its absurdity and illogic. But for anyone with a short attention span, it will be absolutely unbearable.

I'm probably not the person to ask, because I would happily watch Will Smith read the NAZDAQ report, but I mean, it's a modern classic. I'm surprised you HAVEN'T seen it.

Oh god, he's amazing beyond all belief. My love for him completely eclipses my love of Doctor Who, even.

Will Smith truly does kick ass. I've liked him since his Fresh Prince days. Independence Day was well worth the watch.

I watched Chapter 27. It was pretty disturbing, so I give it 3 stars. But Jared Leto didn't do as well as I thought he would, even though he was still really good. But overall, the movie was eh.

The Tooth Fairy... Here's the review I posted on netflix:
Hahahahahaaaaa. Woooow. Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. That's the only reason I watched this all the way through. I wanted to turn this off after the first 10 minutes.
Bad script. Bad actors. Bad characters and character development. Laughable plot.
The gore was pretty insane and "out there", but without the other stuff to back it up it's just fake and pointless gore that isn't nearly as disturbing or outrageous as it could be. The tooth fairy looked pretty gross too, but come on. A black cloak? Swinging axes at people like a clumsy ape? Not that scary.
If you have a good stomach for gore and you're looking for a good laugh, highly recommended. If not, don't waste your time. Do something else with the time like looking at butterflies and playing with babies.

The Strangers - A lot of people thought it was bad, but I liked it. Liv Tyler did very well and it had lots of suspense. Good ending, I thought. A lot of people didn't like it because it didn't really have a plot, but I think that's just the kind of movie it was. It was more of a thriller/psychological horror, focusing more on the victim's fear rather than the attackers. It WAS a bit slow at some places, but I usually have a high tolerance for slow paced movies so I didn't mind.
