topic not related. I just REALLY wanted that to be the first thing you saw.
I'm pissed off at the economy.
My boyfriend just lost his job because where he worked just up and closed.
no warning or nothin. just "we're closed" when he showed up today. The owner didn't even CALL. How shitty right?
Thank the high heavens above that I just got a full time job that pays more than his did or we'd be in a bit of a pickle dick.
That change in economy obama promised best be startin pretty soon cause... Man... I don't know what I'll do. JUST got hired and my department might get closed for lack of funds. I work in the book section of a thrift store btw. I'm cool like that.
But srsly. I'm going a little crazy.
My job is a godsend but I don't want to think my twenty cents above minimum wage job is that great. Three years ago ten dollars would have been as great as what I make now.
I'm just venting.
btw. This place is deeeaaad. I feel like I'm talking to a wall.
Which is also annoying.
meh. toodle pip

Yeah, we noticed it's a little dead. I'm not quite sure what to do about that. As to the economy, check out my radio show for more info and talk on that. Or, start a discussion thread on it. I promise I'll come an play. The turn around promised by the new President is NOT coming, in fact he's telling anyone who will listen that it only going to get worse, and that's if we do exactly as he says. If we don't it will be a catastrophe. His word. If you look at the idiocy of what they are trying to do in the name of "stimulus" and "economic recovery", it'll make you puke.
Worse, the more the so called leaders in this country scream about the coming economic armageddon the worse the economy does because it makes investors hesitant to get into the market, it makes companies tighten up in response to possible future problems and possible future nationalization, and it makes the average person start stashing their money under the mattress. Plus, it makes foreign investors and trade partners less likely to purchase from us, invest in our companies and loan our companies money. All of that increases the pressures on the economy and drives down production, jobs and income. This is what you get when you put empty-headed, unprincipled talking heads in charge. Time for the populace to wake up and throw them all out.

worse... economy... I might cry right now.
Ugh.
I don't even want to TRY to understand whats going on right now. Or i will cry. I'm pretty sure ignorance is bliss in this situation. cause knowledge is really stressful.
=/
Yay for being american.

Nope, ignorance is what got us into this mess, and what will make it worse if we don't put the brakes on our so called leaders. Stressful or not, we gotta stay informed, and make our voices heard.

I prefer to remain but a blip in life.
I don't really have a voice to be heard. Because I other than my apparent distress about it I have nothing to say.
No matter how much i wish it were, it's not up to me.
when it is I'll do something about it. Until then i'll work my 9 to 5 and wait for someone more important to do something.
I mean, my life, and the economy COULD be worse.
and eventually, it has to get better.
