Note about Dorming Groups: The system here is rather simple. Dorm groups are ways to keep up with students after hours and for extracurricular activities. A dorm group -lead by two teachers, although exceptions are made- has its own, specific name (e.g.: Ruby, Topaz, Crystal, etc...) and area in which its members are commonly found. Rivalry can take place, but it is not always common. There are eight dorm groups, three of which are not in the main building. Eldon, Garth, and Lila's dorms are not connected to the main building because of the subjects they teach- Lila teaches weapons, and therefore her dorms are annexed to the stables and weapon storage building; Garth teaches astronomy, and therefore his dorms are in the astronomy tower; and Eldon teaches herbology, so his dorms are near the gardening plot. All of the dorms outside of the main building are group dorms --the teacher having his or her own separate room-- with minor changes. Garth's group dorms are separated into two identical rooms, one for boys and one for girls. (See the Group Dorms in the locations post.) Eldon's are all co-ed, but otherwise the same as Garth's, and Lila's are a bit different. [x] In the separate, curtained portions, it is not co-ed. The only other abnormalities are that Eldon sometimes has Cyndia to help him; and, due to the odd arrangements of the dorms not connected to the school, Abigail runs hers alone.
Teachers without Dorms: Rashida, due to the fact that she has to watch over a host of wily, magical creatures already; Ada, due to the fact that she has a whole school to watch over; Laya, due to the fact that she doesn't get along well with 'kids,' and simply works there because of the Bureau's demand; Silvia, because she doesn't technically classify as a "teacher," and spending too long in her presence can cause odd side effects because of her celestial blood; and Yuri, because she sleeps in her own room connected to the Infirmary in case of an emergency.
Dorms
Garth - Onyx Eldon (& Cyndia) - Emerald Lila - Quartz
Abigail - Jasper Zyla & Hexa - Ruby Ari & Kitsa - Crystal Jarret & June - Amethyst Consecra & Yarrath - Sapphire Wilamina & Horus- Topaz

Slowly, the roar of the jet engines died down, and the uncomfortable looking brunette shot a glare at her escort-- a gaunt, black-haired woman dressed in a stiff suit and pencil skirt, manicured hands clutching tightly at a brown, leather briefcase. Next to her were two men in the male versions of the same apparel, their arms heavily muscled and countenances stern. Body guards, crowd control, all for their charges: two teen girls, residents, until recently, of Kentwood Asylum.
Louise had already tried once for escape in their journey, claiming the she and her similarly mad travelling companion, Gemma, had been kidnapped. Unfortunately, that hadn't flown because of the fact that in the woman's briefcase, she had the necessary documents to prove guardianship, also necessary for the transfer of patients from asylum to asylum.
A stream of heavy German words were broadcast through the poorly made air plane speakers, and it appeared that they had cleared the gate. Louise's assumption was soon affirmed as the English version of the announcement ran through the speakers after a myriad of other languages. The presence of familiar words obviously eased the woman's attitude, and Louise wished that they'd just kept their jolly mouth fucking shut.
Closing her eyes and leaning back, she tried to concentrate on her thoughts, formulate a plan. She snorted. Now don't start trying to act all heroic here like you're the victim, she thought to herself, cynicism rising. Despite all of her efforts, she was here in Germany, about to go to another freak show. Her chance at escape was as good as gone by now.
The fourteen-year-old ground her teeth together, again feeling the desire to make her three captors burst into flames, but the idea was again doused by the reality of her incapacitating state. If she exerted too much of her power, she would fall unconcious and be taken into custody again by gods-know who. Failure. That's all she'd gotten, in spite of her best efforts. Failure and captivity.
~~
Louise stumbled in the darkness, and one of the body guards' arms grabbed onto her shoulder like a vice. Her voice rasped through dry, cracked lips, gravely tone quite different from her usually medium voice dripping with sarcasm. "Don't you fucking touch me."
Regaining her footing, Louise turned her head so that her cheek was partially on his thick fingers and her mouth was aptly placed so that her unusually sharp canines could dash at the flesh, which they promptly did, earning her a rewarding flinch from the man. Just to make her point, she swung her arm around, aiming straight for his gut; the muscles were tensed enough to resembled iron, and her hands formed into claws, the tendons stretched so that if she had been in her right mind, Louise would have experienced pain. But she wasn't, now was she? The nails hit their mark, and the girll heard a sudden exhilation from the guard. She smirked and continued to walk along after wrenching her arm free of his grasp.
The woman murmured a few words to the man, who was at this point clutching the point of impact and struggling to regain his breath. By the yellow lights of their destination, an indefinite shape at this point with a discernably large area, she could tell that the woman turned to glare at her, the golden lights glinting off of her glassy brown eyes. Louise smirked
It took her a moment to calm down, breathing deeply and attempting to relax her muscles after the sudden adrenaline rush, but when she had finally regained a measure of control, she supressed a laugh at the man's actions.Probably thought I was trying to escape. Louise snorted and continued on as far away from the others as she could without looking eager.
With a second thought, Louise dropped back, slowing her step as she discreetly tried to locate Gemma in the dark, and she found her lurking towards the back. Silently, she fell in step with her companion, mentally cursing herself for her weakness. Why'd you move back here anyway? she thought, irked at her actions. It's because you're afraid. And you know that you can fix that. Kill the girl, and the weakness is gone. Kill them all.
Louise felt her stomach muscles tense at the voice inside of her, the same one that had issued the warning to the body guard in its gravelly tenor. She felt sick at the intrusion and her body temperature drop. Just go away. I didn't ask for this, she thought, pressing her lips together tightly so that they lost their color, eye lids tightly squeezed shut and the lashes intertwined as she felt a lump in her throat, formed of sickness at herself, as well as the self-hate and fear. Just go away.

Gemma was sitting on the cushioned airplane seat, a window seat. She glanced out the clear plastic material, which was now beginning to be littered with tiny rain droplets. She leaned closer to the window until her forehead finally came in contact with it, where the cold air felt crisp against her smooth skin. She watched as some of the gray clouds passed her by and others were penetrated by the large airplane. She looked ahead, in the direction they were traveling, and saw an especially large, beautiful, gray cloud that was in their path. The cloud seemed so soft and solid, and yet, the airplane passed through it like it was nothing... Soon, everything around them was a solid gray color. There was nothing but that solid color, and it almost felt like they were in limbo, in an endless dimension. A strange, mellow feeling washed over her, and she closed her eyes to allow herself to feel it to its full extent.
A few minutes later, they emerged from the cloud and the beautiful land of Germany was exposed below.
What a fucking shithole. I can't believe we have to go to this place.
She heard a standard, common sounding woman over the intercom of the airplane. She couldn't hear her, but the woman seemed tired. She sounded practiced, perfected, routined, and artificial. She didn't want to be here. She hated her job. She was good at plastering a fake smile on her face, she was good at lying to people, and she was good at lying to herself. She doesn't live for herself anymore, she lives for everyone else. She lives for other people's expectations. Gemma tried to concentrate on what the poor lady was saying, but the deafening roar of the engine and the rush of the air outside the window she was leaning against blurred the words into a distant mumble.
She doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about, don't listen to her. Gemma lifted her head up from the window.
"...soon to be landing in the Tegel Airport. Please return your seats to the upright position and put away the tray tables. We hope you've enjoyed your flight, and thankyou for flying Delta." 'We hope you've enjoyed your flight'? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Are you serious?
Gemma sighed. She wasn't sure what to think of the road ahead. This had to be better than the asylum, but she hated being the new kid. Though, this time she had Louise, so she wouldn't be the only one. She looked to her right grimly, where her companion sat. They would be the freaks. But there was nothing wrong with that, she reminded herself. She was always the freak at her old school, and she was more than used to it. She just hated being paid so much attention to. She had to deal with that when she and Zach moved from her hometown, after Sean died. She shivered. She pulled down the tray table on the seat back in front of her, crossed her arms, and laid them on the makeshift desk. She then laid her head down on top of them and closed her eyes. She probably should have brought a pillow. She winced as an annoying, piercing, high-pitched noise accompanied with a sharp pain was introduced gradually into her ear. She was never good with the elevation changes on airplanes. She paid no attention to the fact that the lying lady had told her to put away the tray tables.
You're quite the little rebel, aren't you? Oh, please, give me a fucking break. Go hijack the plane or something.
When they landed and were escorted out of the plane, Gemma looked around her in a daze. She felt completely empty and mellow inside, and she decided to just let life happen to her. She was taken to the area where you pick up the pets that were carried in the back of the plane. She gratefully accepted the small, portable cage containing her cat, Andy. She looked inside the cage to see the gray tabby cat sleeping soundly. After that, they were taken to the baggage claim, and then the parking lot.
Let this hellish adventure begin.
---------------------------------------------------------
The finally reached the school grounds, which is when they were forced to walk the rest of the way. Andy was awake by then, so when the guards picked up their baggage from the trunk, Gemma took Andy out, gave them the small cage, and carried him as they walked. She stayed behind the rest, holding the cat tight to her chest, gently stroking him behind the ears. She smiled at the slight, warm vibration emitting from the animal. She sensed that there was commotion somewhere up ahead, but it was too dark to tell. But from the grunt of pain that no doubt came from one the guards, she figured Louise was causing trouble again and smiled.
Forget the cat, punch those motherfuckers. You two could escape if you tried.
"No we couldn't." she said softly to Jael. As she was gently petting the cat, she sensed a presence next to her. She looked to her left and saw that Louise was walking next to her.
"Hey."

Louise jumped slightly; she hadn't expected recognition at her presence. "Hey," she pursed her lips, getting a harsh control on the snake that seemed to worm inside her stomach, making her voice crack. "You holding up alright?" she queried, doubly unsure since she couldn't see her.
The group was fast approaching the manor now, and the form of the building was becoming clear: On either side there were large turrets, round and spiralling to a rather vicious looking point, each with a weather vein on top like a defiant jab at whatever deity might be watching. The front wall appeared to have three floors, the first with large, narrow windows, light spilling out of each where a normal life seemed to take place with children laughing and eating, playing tag, watching TV... She shook herself. What the fuck? That wasn't much like an asylum. Way too much freedom, happiness... Oh great, she thought. They must have these kids drugged up on something. The second story windows were plain, most of them closed with only little bits of light seeping from between the blinds; the third floor, lastly, seemed to be where most of the dorms were with smaller windows and dormers. Above that, Louise could dimly see three sets of battlement. Geez... That's pretty goddamn creepy. These people might need to work on their sense of style... As they reached the front door of the building, heavy and made of a dark, stained wood, reminding Louise of an entrance to a catacomb. The doors swung open, and it appeared that a figure had materialized out of the warm light; Louise took a swipe with the back of her hand at her eyes to try and clear the sleep out of them, or whatever else might be distorting her vision. Sticking out her hand, their black-haired escort jumped right into the business at hand, pleasantries aside. Having stepped into the light, when Louise's eyes adjusted and she saw the woman, she did a bit of a double-take. She has vibrant turquoise hair and shining, blue-grey eyes that gave Louise a disconcerted feeling; in addition, she wasn't wearing the typical array of either an all black dress suit or an all white doctor's coat: Instead she wore a long, blue-violet, velvet skirt, a pink sleeveless top cinched at the waist with a brown belt and silver buckle, and a soft brown sweater over it, as well as a silver necklace. Louise blinked and turned to Gemma, giving her a purely perplexed look- Was she seeing things? And their escorts hadn't even blinked. Louise was further confused when shortly behind the woman, she saw another "doctor" or so she presumed her to be. It took a moment for her to figure out whether it was a she or a he, but after looking at the almost invisible rise on her chest and a slight curve around her hips, Louise assumed she was a woman. Her clothing was also ambiguous- A light lace-up top white in color, soft brown pants and a long red scarf hiding her long, slender neck from view. Heavy silver jewelry was strewn all across her body, all bearing the same emblem, one that Louise took to be celtic. What she found even odder, however, was the woman's pale silver, spikey hair and luminescent eyes, starkly obvious against her near dove-white skin and slightly tilted upward at their corners. Again, Louise glanced at Gemma, mouthing "What the hell?!" when she was sure no one was looking. Shouldn't the Kentwood employees be at all surprised? What was with them? Both of their hair colors looked perfectly natural and countenances quite serious... What was going on?

"Yeah, considering." she answered. Well I'm not.
As the group approached their destination, Gemma marveled at the architecture of the building. What a beautiful place! How old was it? she wondered. Though the building's structure fascinated her, she couldn't ignore that this seemed like an unlikely place to have an asylum. She looked over at Louise, and by the look on her face she could tell that she was thinking the very same thing. She looked over at their escorts. They didn't seem surprised.
When they opened the huge double doors at the entrance of what seemed like a fortress, Gemma began to suspect that this was no asylum. But how could that be? Inside, two very peculiar looking women were there to greet them. The contrast between the Kentwood employees and the two that awaited their arrival was shocking. On one side, there were stiff, serious, professional people wearing clothes that were either black or variations of gray. On the other, colorful clothes, peculiar hair, and strange jewelry. Gemma looked over at Louise in confusion as she did the same to her.
After the Kentwood employees and the two women finished talking, the woman with the turquoise hair and blue-gray eyes turned to Gemma and Louise and said, "Welcome to Reiner Vladilen Manor! I am the headmistress Ada Eichelberger and this is the Arithmancy Teacher Hexa Drow. We are both glad to have you here." What the fuck? She held out her hand to Louise first, then Gemma. Gemma looked at her strangely and reluctantly shook her hand, immediately noticing that they were unbelievably smooth. We are both glad to have you here. That... that sounded sincere. Gemma hugged Andy closer to her chest.

"Hexa, why don't you take these two ladies to their dorms? I'm sure they'll be tired after their journey. Transcontinental flights can be a bit of an energy-drainer, no?" she directed this last question at the girls with a wink. Louise smiled weakly, wondering what the hell was going on, and what the fuck was arithmancy. Glancing over at the Kentwood employees, she found them talking among themselves, as if nothing strange was going on. Shouldn't the word "classes" be making them... well... AWARE OF WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON?! Louise thought, almost audibly grinding her teeth before she swallowed and tried to regain her calm, if she had ever possessed it. "C'mon," Hexa said, inclining her head towards a warmly lit marble stairwell off to their left. "You're baggage is already in your rooms- Or at least it should be. If it isn't, it'll be up there within the half hour. Anyway, this is just a temporary residence before we can get you into your real dorm groups. Anyway, do you guys have any questions?" Hexa turned her head back, as she asked this, her spidery hands trailing along the banister while the group ascended, Louise occasionally glancing back occasionally to see if the fact that they'd just wandered away had taken any effect on the Kentwood employees. As Hexa asked this, Louise turned to Gemma, not exactly sure how to answer the question... It seemed a little...out there.
