I think I literally got a headache trying to comprehend that article. It's Friday, and my brain has shut off. I'll have to come back another time lol!

Woah. That is a really interesting theory.
I have my doubts, but... wow. That is a strange theory. It's baffling to think about.

Entertaining Science Fiction. Do I think time is running out? Don't know. The problem with these theories, as with so many others, is that they are nearly impossible to prove because they deal with events millenia away, and cannot possibly take into account all the possible variables between here and there, or all the undiscovered aspects that can impact the outcome. The article itself states that the theory is only relevant if you assume there is only one time dimension. But, I don't think we particularly understand time. For us it is a linear movement, because from our perspective, that's all it can be. We move forward, and can look back. On the other hand, there is the possibility that time is a plane, just like the physical one, that happens all at once, and we are just moving along the vector we can see. It is very interesting theory, fun to twist your brain up, and makes outstanding ideas for some truly great fiction, starting with the Time Machine. But as to practical purpose, I can't say I see much.

Conflicting theory:
--In order to know that time is running out, one must first know what time is.--
In years past I have read many articles/theories and have yet to find a rational explanation of what time is, or if it even truly exist.
Technically speaking, time is just another unit of measurement. Scientifically it is the natural progression of probable events. It is perceived many different ways, but to say it will run out... well I'd like to see the mathematical backing on that. Then again, that's why it's called theoretical science.
