So, when you're vegetating in front of the boob tube (which I tend to do a lot), what are your favorite shows to watch? Mine range all over, depending on my mood and the time of day. So I'll start with Sci-Fi.
Dr. Who - Well, duh.
Stargate & Stargate Atlantis
Eureka
and one that doesn't run any more, but I absolutely loved - Farscape

Dexter is really weird, and very cool. (Ammy says fragglerocking awesome). It's about a serial killer crime scene analyst. Very twisted, likable character, interesting story line and perspective.

Ah, I like weird stuff. ;D I've heard good things about the actor because he's very masculine in Dexter but he actually plays a gay character very effectively in Six Feet Under.

Ehhhh I wasn't really impressed with Fringe. x__x Agreed. It looked silly to begin with, but I watched some of it and was not impressed at all. Stupid "psychological" shows for the lose.

Yeah, and the guy who plays the smartass doesn't do the job very effectively, IMO. And the girl who plays Olivia is pretty, but not a very good actress. And the old guy is supposed to be interesting and mysterious but I'm not sure I'm that interested in his character... I just found him annoying.
I did watch this week's episode though and it was better than the one I watched before... Who knows, maybe it'll get better. I'm only watching it because it's produced by J. J. Abrahms. (I don't think I spelled his name right.)

I watch Fringe because my mom's boyfriend watches it. I don't really think I should say that it counts as a TV show that I watch.. Usually I just sit here and tune it out. I do like the old guy though. The rootbeer float thing was funny. xD
But I agree with you guys.. It really isn't that impressive. I mean, most shows that I like, within the first episode I'm like: WOAH. THIS IS AWESOME. (-cough-LostwhenKeyowasatmyhouse-cough-)

Additions to my list:
CSI- all of them Criminal Minds NCIS Bones House Monk Psych The Mentalist Burn Notice Saving Grace - Outstanding look at God in a harsh world. Not sugary like a lot of the ones that try that topic, not real religious or preachy. Probably highly offensive to a lot of Christians. Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space 9 occasionally (when nothing else is on at 2 in the morning)
